Vincent Cantillon

The imagination, something which gives us the ability to see humane face in almost everything. Maybe this is what makes Vincent Cantillon's masks so intriguing. An infusion of ancient gothic and tribal aesthetics distorts the human face with animal-like features, many of which include horns, feathers and fur. Natural shapes flow well with colours such as rich greens, deep reds midnight blacks and spectral whites; attention to detail is intimate, allowing each mask to be a truly one-off piece.

Bondage: fashion's secret fantasy

Bondage...Whips? Chains? Leather? Harnesses?...

Bondage and fashion are two things the fashion industry would never expect to mix, but they have. When fetish fashion first hit catwalks back  in 2009 it was all leather, studs and chains but it's moved on. It is no longer a season-defined statement trend. It has morphed into something else, something more subtle, constantly floating around the edges, classic-inspired and refined.

Designer Watch: Alice Auaa

Eccentric, gothic and beautiful Alice Auaa  is without a doubt one of my favourite designers. His infusion of haunting features and fairytale-like characteristics is like seeing a Tim Burton movie come to life on the runway. Bloody Face

Self portraits, a common thing seen in the art world by many different artists alike. Artists use self portraits as a form of deeper self expression, as art is a form of self expression in itself the action of the artists adding themselves into their work forms a whole different level of intimacy. Lookbook: Improvisation

As unpredictable as the UK's weather may be, no-one expected the weather we have had for the past 2 weeks. The heatwave-like weather has hit my wardrobe hard, my winter clothes weren't ready for this, and neither was I. Improvisation was needed.
